The San Francisco Bay area is renowned the world over for its international and continental cuisines and excellent wineries and breweries throughout the region.
It’s because of this unique recognition, we created a new destination between San Francisco and the Napa Sonoma wine country to present the first International Cultural Food & Music Festival on Labor Day Weekend, Saturday and Sunday September 1st & 2nd, 2018 from 10:30a.m. – 8:30p.m. on the Vallejo Waterfront.
The festival’s cultural culinary table will highlight the varied, fresh, sumptuous, cuisines with food tasting and pairings of excellent wines and beers crafted in the region. Twenty-five regional chefs, bakers and cooks will prepare and serve tasting of food originating from around the world. Be sure and purchase your culinary passport to begin your culinary journey.
We invite you to come and ignite your senses at our cultural culinary table as you sample food from across the globe, sip and enjoy wine and beer tasting, listen to and experience live music, dance, cultural performanc- es, stroll and shop our marketplace of cultural exhibits, arts and crafts and endless family fun at our carnival and free kids activities.
A 2018 Labor Day Weekend destination festival you won’t want to miss! This event is open to the public and will offer fun free entertainment for the entire family to enjoy.
Portions of the proceeds from this event will be donated in support of quality education and recreation for Solano County, Bay Area and Central California for children and families. In addition, we are proud to support the Solano community by hosting a non-perishable food drive. Please bring non-perishable food items to be dropped off at our designated festival location.
The International Cultural Food & Music Festival is produced and hosted by, Paul Zarkas, founder of ICFM Festival and Cultural Community Advancement of Vallejo, California. Our director is Sondra Jensen of SJ Media and Event Productions.
